Email me for advice on guinea pigs - my page is far from finished. I have kept them almost all of my life, I can offer advice on almost every subject that there is. Guinea Pigs can eat solid food from about 8 hours old, but in such poor conditions they often don't. They need you to offer them a loving home. A survey showed many guinea pigs spent as little as 5 minutes out a day in almost 60% of buyers homes. If you can offer them a home this is always best for them. Too short notice? Let them have free-range in a room with igloos etc until you can buy a cage. This is never a bad thing. They can be extremely stressed without their mothers, and this CAN kill them.
